Liz Pascaud Translations FAQ
Here are some answers to some typical questions. If you can not find what you are looking for - please, just get in touch. We will be delighted to help you.
How easy is it to get my file translated?
It takes just 2 easy steps to get your quote and begin the translation process. All you need to do is send us your file and you will receive your quotation by return. If you’re happy the translation of your document will begin. It really is as easy as that!
Who will translate my documents?
All of our translations are carried out by accredited, qualified and professional translators. All translators translate from a source language into their mother tongue language so we can absolutely guarantee true cultural adaption and accurate translation of your files.
Does the translator know about my subject area – it’s technical?
Absolutely! Not only are our translators language experts but they all possess specific subject area knowledge. For example a professional Spanish translator that translates financial agreements would not be asked to translate a pharmaceutical clinical trial paper. We have broad areas of specialism, such as Engineering which are then broken down into sub categories such as Civil Engineering, Bio-Mechanics, Chemical Engineering etc.
How will you charge me for the translation?
Translations are charged at a £GBP Sterling rate per 1000 words translated. Some languages are more expensive than others, for example to translate a document from English to French would be cheaper than translating the same document from English into Arabic. We charge more for technical/medical and legal documents and we also offer an express service for which we add a surcharge.
All costs are formalised in a quote to you and no other charges will be levied. There are no hidden costs.
What languages do you translate into and out of?
Here at Liz Pascaud Translations we cover all world languages. We find that we are asked to translate into and out of 35 core languages but we are able to offer translation into over 400 different combinations.
How long does the translation process take?
Generally speaking our translators are able to translate around 1500-2000 words per day. Obviously technical and complex work takes longer than simple and straightforward general texts.
What is EJP TRANSLATE?
EJP TRANSLATE is our online translation technology that allows some processes to be semi automated and can save those companies with on going translation needs up to 30% in costs.
How can I pay for my translation?
We accept payments in all currencies by bank transfers and PayPal. There is a PayPal button on the prices section of our website. Once you know the amount you need to pay then you can go ahead and pay online directly.
